Welcome!
The resident owners Nikki and Sean have recently completed a full refurbishment of Woodland House to an exceptional standard. Woodland House B and B now offers stylish, welcoming and relaxing accommodation for you to enjoy.
Nikki and Sean, together with their two cockapoos, are resident at Woodland House, and so are available to assist you if required.
Our aim is to give you an enjoyable stay in the quiet, calm village of Horton Heath, Wimborne. You will find us set in approximately a third of an acre of gardens (almost a fifth of a hectare) with an ancient woodland opposite the B and B and an open farmland to the rear.
We have three beautifully decorated bedrooms; one double and two king-size rooms. All rooms have their own ensuite fitted with a lovely rainfall shower.
You can enjoy the sounds of the wildlife and a large variety of birds. We often hear owls hooting at night and are very lucky to see the local deer wandering through the fields. We have a local woodpecker amongst 5 or 6 local robins and a huge range of small, pretty birds. Due to our rural location, we have no street lighting, and luckily this means you can enjoy the best of the night sky. A clear night can boast a fantastic view of the stars and planets, something that never gets old. We have comfortable seating areas in the gardens to be used at your leisure, too.
Every morning we provide a selection of cereals, yoghurt or fruit, followed by a breakfast cooked freshly to order. Included in our choices are Vegetarian, Vegan and Gluten-free breakfasts. If you have any special requirements, we do our best to accommodate them, so just ask.
